Sixth grade Rotation
Welcome to the 6th grade Spanish rotation! You will be in my Introduction to Spanish class for the first six weeks of 6th grade.
We will cover many exciting cultural and language topics during your stay in my class. My hope is that you will develop a love for Spanish language and culture, and that you will then study Spanish with me in 7th grade.
Some of the culture topics we will investigate: Food, music, dance, customs, and festivals from a variety of Spanish speaking countries.
Some of the language topics we will investigate: Learn how to express your likes and dislikes. Confidently describe your friends and family. Learn how to introduce yourself and others.
If you have any questions about what the sixth grade class entails please do not hesitate to reach out. deirdre.riordan@houstonisd.org
